This dried seaweed (also called sea mustard, or Wakame in Japanese) is incredibly nutritious. It’s a key ingredient in seaweed soup (miyeok-guk). It’s sold dried, and when rehydrated it expands quite a bit!In Korea, seaweed soup is often served for a woman who just delivered a baby, because the nutrients that are contained in the seaweed are known to help with the recovery and also producing breast milk.
How To Use
Make sure to reconstitute this wakame seaweed before using.
Add a handful of wakame seaweed to a bowl full of water.
Wait until it fully expands in the water.
Add to miso soup or salads for a health boost.
